I found this when I was looking for something to do with a couple venison roast I had in the freezer, I hope you enjoy.

4lbs boneless venison roast

11/2 cups ketchup

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons soy juice

1 tablespoon liquid smoke (optional )

2 teaspoons celery salt

2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon groung nutmeg

3 drops hot pepper sauce, you can add more.

Cut venison roast in half. place in slow cooker.

In large bowl combine all above listed seasonings then pour over venison.

Cover and cook on high 41/2 to 5 hours or until meat is tender.

Remove roast and set aside to cool.

Strain sauce and return it to slow cooker. this will remove any unwanted grease.

Shred meat and return to sauce and heat through.

PUT ON BREAD AND ENJOY.....................
