MOVE AWAY TO GET THAT BIRD
Submitted By: Hatch, O'Fallon MO

When a gobbler hangs up out of range don't be afraid to move away from him, especially if another turkey is gobbling in another direction. Usually the bird will strut back and forth and give you a chance to move locations. If you are lucky enough to have other birds gobbling, a good hard series of calls to the other birds will be more than he can stand!  If no other birds are talking, move back and give him a series of calls and wait him out. But don't over call, make him look for you.   Hatch, O'Fallon MO
