"Gobblers are easier to call if you try to call them to the spot they wanted to go to anyway.  I do a lot of scouting and listening in the pre-season and when I find a hill top or field that the turkeys like to go to each morning, I try to beat them there in turkey season.  May success has really gone up by doing this.  I used to just go out and set up and call and many times they answered but wouldn't come in for a shot.  They would answer for a while and then head to their favorite breeding field or hill top.  Now I am waiting for them!"  Larry in Arkansas
